I was surprised how well they bring local dialect Cantonese. Outsiders, radio stations (some not all) completely in Guangdong as it really feels like you're in Hong Kong was not some Chinatown stereotypes with broken ' Engrish '. Even the NPC that marks English really well although this stereotyping. But this is how the Chinese speak English both ineffective to register all rights reserved.

The dialogue in this game is great, I think. Although some transitions of an English word canto phrases to find some brush up, but for the most part, it flows nicely.

Although many people may disagree with this, but I think you can get a greater appreciation for the game if you know Cantonese. I myself do canto, I break the talks say exclusively for Guangdong in the game. Although you certainly don't need to know of the Canto to play this game, will promote this understanding your attachment to the sleeping dogs of the world. Even the signs with China, it is interesting to read.

This game is very different from a sandbox game I've played so far. The attack on the environment and the interaction was amazing (tho sometimes repeats a bit?) struggle to find difficult if your timer service (combat similar to the Batman games, if you play). It offers a great alternative to the typical burning GTA tho.

Don't give 5 stars is because I think that this games can be completed relatively short muzzle in sandbox open-world game. I have only 7 hours and I found about half of all the secrets and 30% in the game. I feel like I can with this 20-25 hours, shortly before each game I like my time to explore, you would do against 7 hours.

Driving on the wrong side of the road, you will find the used quickly after a few here and there. It's not like I'm going to abide by the laws of the game (that's right, all riders in the middle of the road! and I ... >. >)

The driver is very different than in a GTA game I played, there is much stronger. Car air lift jacks is awkward, in my opinion. Because you can easily enough, automatically check the car without a fight. I would like to see them that you need the reaction in the air with Jack the car you hit on the roof.

To summarize:

PROS:

-Great dialogue (even better if you know Cantonese)

-A great story (as the actual cinema Hong Kong Cop drama)

-A colorful town (all the neon lights, purtyyyyy)

-Bone-breaking action against

-Nice (the screen blurring effect when driving at high speed) driving

Cons:

Mystery easily deployed (and legal methods do not cheat!)

-Repetitive fighting moves and select list.

-Some fights really hard (you're vulnerable so clear)

-Map is a kind of small compared to GTA: San Andres to say (although more appropriate size)

-For very fast playing 100% completion of the game (this is just my guess)

Conclusion: If you like the game under the open sand, buy. If you are Chinese language, Cantonese, exactly. I have it to friends who hate GTA game and play the recommended!
